The Giving Circle of Alexandria
The Giving Circle is a diverse group of women who are invested and engaged in their community. They believe that confronting the City’s high priority issues collectively and strategically is the best means to inspire social change. With an annual matching grant of $25,000, ACT has helped The Giving Circle increase their membership and impact around early childhood education. In 2009, ACT and The Giving Circle co-invested in a city-wide playgroup initiative to expand a collaborative playgroup model around the City.

ACT Now & Eat Now to help Alexandrians in need! Join us on Monday, September 21st from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. for a restaurant night at Mango Mike's. Mango Mike's has generously agreed to donate 15% of the evenings sales to the ACT Now Fund.
The ACT Now Fund is designed to help the city's nonprofits meet basic human needs in our community, such as emergency financial aid, housing, food, clothing, and medical/health assistance. Grants will be given to organizations whose main mission is providing aid and/or meeting the basic needs of children and families in the city of Alexandria.
