Help keep an Alexandria child out of the emergency room with an inexpensive gift of Pedialyte. The Alexandria Neighborhood Health Services, Inc. (ANHSI) is in need of 8 ounce bottles of Pedialyte to distribute to parents who cannot afford to purchase it for their children. Help a veteran in need by providing transportation to the VA Hospital. ACT now by donating a $10 Metro Farecard to the Lazarus Project. If you are taking Metro this week, buy an extra Farecard and mail or drop it off to Christ Church, 118 North Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. Help single-parent families in need feed their children by donating bread and milk to Community Lodgings. When you go to the grocery store this week, pick up some extra bread and milk and drop it off to Community Lodgings in Arlandria. They will deliver this food to families who need it.
