The Giving Circle of Alexandria
The Giving Circle is a diverse group of women who are invested and engaged in their community. They believe that confronting the City’s high priority issues collectively and strategically is the best means to inspire social change. With an annual matching grant of $25,000, ACT has helped The Giving Circle increase their membership and impact around early childhood education. In 2009, ACT and The Giving Circle co-invested in a city-wide playgroup initiative to expand a collaborative playgroup model around the City.

Tickets are now on sale for ACT's Generations of Giving Gala on April 29th, 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Innovation: Reinventing Community With ingenuity, dedication and heart, ACT invites you to join us in creating new ways to better the lives of our community's families and children. Our next generation is our most important creation, and the innovative, effective services and support systems made possible by your support of ACT are vital to our children's future. In celebration of their many years of community philanthropy and service, ACT will be honoring the Guiffre Family with the Legacy of Giving Award. In keeping with our theme, the dress is geek chic...from khakis and argyle vests, to mismatched plaids and minis, to rock band tees, jeans and sneakers...embrace your inner nerd and come dressed for fun!
