ABLE seeks to provide fundamental knowledge about effective board leadership and access to training; support a vibrant network of members for sharing and learning; and foster a dynamic environment for recruitment of volunteers for board service.  Spring for Alexandria is a three-day celebration of giving and service in Alexandria, Virginia. Now in its third year, Spring for Alexandria is jointly hosted by ACT for Alexandria, the City of Alexandria, and Volunteer Alexandria. Spring for Alexandria brings together more than 2,000 community members, including businesses, nonprofit organizations, Alexandria Public Schools, and City government to support Alexandria-based charities. Please save the dates - April 29 - May 1, 2010. Spring for Alexandria sponsorships are available at $15,000 and $10,000.
