ACT for Alexandria

Celebrating 10 Years of Service to Alexandria's Kids

Beginning in 2005, ACT, in partnership with the City of Alexandria, convened a group of passionate City activists and philanthropists to help create Center for Alexandria’s Children (CAC), inspired by the Child Advocacy Center model where a child could receive coordinated and specialized services to help them recover from abuse.  The CAC now serves as the City’s primary resource for the prevention, investigation and treatment of child abuse.  The CAC officially opened in April 2007 and in celebration of their 10 year anniversary, they are honoring ACT and former Commonwealth’s Attorney S. Randolph Sengel at the 2017 CAC Gala.  Please join us for this celebration as we all tip our hats to a decade of service to Alexandria’s kids.  To learn more about the CAC or to purchase tickets to the 2017 CAC Gala: Hats Off! on Friday, February 24 at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town, visit:
