From October 2022 to June 2023, ACT embarked on a community-driven strategic planning process that will shape our strategic priorities for the future. We wanted to refine and build upon our past success as a “community quarter-back” and mobilizer. We affirmed our commitment to a racially just and equitable Alexandria by identifying specific ways we can work with our partners to address long-standing challenges like youth success and economic mobility.

Meet the Community Listening and Strategic Planning Team
The process is being led by a team comprised of eighteen people, primarily community members that have lived experience with key issues like economic mobility, youth success and racial equity.
