Join us on September 3rd, from 9:00–11:00 AM at Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center (1086 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170), for an interactive session designed to strengthen advocacy skills for Northern Virginia nonprofits and community partners!

Learn how to influence change at the state level! This interactive workshop will focus on Virginia’s policy landscape and give you the tools to advocate effectively for your mission. Topics include:

  • Nonprofit advocacy and 501(c)(3) lobbying rules
  • How Virginia state policy shapes your daily work
  • An overview of Virginia’s legislative and budget processes
  • How to use storytelling as a powerful advocacy tool

Whether you’re new to advocacy or looking to sharpen your approach, you’ll walk away with practical, state-focused strategies to make your voice heard in Richmond and beyond.
