As Alexandria’s community foundation, ACT brings together local government, local businesses, and nonprofits to create a place where everyone has an opportunity to thrive. To celebrate this shared connection and our 20th anniversary, ACT is hosting a community, family-friendly event featuring music, food, games, activities, programming, and engagement. We are expecting 300-400 attendees including nonprofit partners, City of Alexandria officials, corporate sponsors, and honored guests including ACT Founders.

The music of Saxy Entertainment with Antonio has made its home at various venues all over the Washington DC metropolitan area. Hailing from Alexandria, Virginia, Antonio discovered his love for the saxophone at a young age and has spent years perfecting his technical sound and unique style while captivating the hearts of fans and audience members.
Explore vocal expression with Heard, an organization that fosters creativity, confidence, self-worth, and life skills to adults, families, and youth in need who are marginalized, underserved, unknown, and unheard.
Explore STEM activities with Titan Robotics. At one time a Catalyst Fund at ACT, Titan Robotics is a nonprofit organization that gives back to our community and promotes STEAM awareness through events in the classroom and in the community.
Dance creatively with Local Motion Project, a nonprofit organization that brings people together in dynamic, collective movement experiences that effect personal growth and social change.
Create community art with Upcycle, a nonprofit organization that fosters creative expression, resourcefulness, experiential learning, individuality and fun for all ages.
Join past and present ACT and City of Alexandria leadership for a short program celebrating ACT’s Anniversary including the presentation of a city proclamation by Vice Mayor Amy Jackson. Featured speakers include Virginia State Delegate Elizabeth Bennett-Parker, Retired Deputy City Manager Debra Collins, and ACT President & CEO Heather Peeler.
